A few books come along that grab me and make me gush and cry. The cry isn't always about sadness but largely about the emotion I am feeling, sometimes sad, sometimes happy, sometimes world rocked. This book brought tears to my eyes, brought emotion to the forefront and left my world rocked. I smiled, laughed, felt sad and happy. This book gave it all to me and then some. This book hooked it's claws into my heart.

When I started reading this book I couldn't help the way I was instantly wrapped up in the dialogue of Beck and Abby. It was smart and witty and grabbed my attention. Who was this guy that just walked up to a stranger, in that setting, and started talking and making light conversation and jokes?! It was utterly perfect. Then... then, it got BETTER! So within the first chapter I became invested in the idea of these two characters and I was head over heels for Beck. However, Abby grabbed me and her inner dialogue, who she is, what she went through... it was just so engrossing. I could not put the book down. I had to keep reading, I had to know where this wild ride was going.

I love strong male leads that are intelligent, a bit cocky and maybe a bit arrogant. Beck was all those for me and more. He had passion, patience and a heart that will melt your own. He is the end all be all perfect man. This isn't to say he is all perfect, he has his flaws, he has his moments. Then there is Abby. So isolated from the world for so long, living a life waiting to die but fighting to live that when given the chance she takes it and goes head long into the world. I admired Abby, her intelligence, her smarts, her being. Did I want to strangle her at a point, sure, but we all do things that others think we shouldn't.

The whole story, the road trip, the developing relationship between these two. It all felt like utter perfection. My emotions were on board for the trip and I got to feel a full range of them. This story has it's highs and lows and damn, will you feel your heart break so so so much for the characters. This wasn't a overtly heavy read, not a dark read at all either. This was a heartwarming, heart wrenching, hope filling, love story. This was utter perfection.

This is book that will stay with me, that I will tell others they MUST read. This is a story that will leave you feeling complete.

This was such an emotional book. It will take you so very high and you will also hit close to rock bottom. Abby was just such an amazing character, that I'm not even sure where to start. As a girl who has not really experienced life, we actually get to watch her go through all the big moments on the course of her road trip. I had soooo many questions as I got to know her - primarily "what was in the dang urn!!!!!" She was just so full of life that you almost forgot why she was on the road trip to begin with. And then you go down - down - down - as disaster hits her life and she falls apart. I wanted to go give her a big hug and let her cry on my shoulder. Yes, I loved this character that much!

Beck was also something special. Can I have him please? I promise to take excellent care of him. I love how he just stepped in and accepted Abby and all her quirks without batting an eyelash. He wasn't perfect - but just close enough that you don't mind his little mistakes.

Their road trip was everything the metaphor should be. They traveled down emotional paths that were new and tackled the problems that came about together so they could both reach the next destination. This is everything a New Adult romance is supposed to be.

With This Heart is a beautifully written story about a young lady named Abby Mae, who is trying to find herself after many years of living terminally ill, and not knowing whether there would be a tomorrow for her or not.
Abby has a plan to go on a road trip to spread these mystery ashes she carries around with her. Everything is going as planned until the beautiful Beck comes in like a wrecking ball, and decides that as a total stranger, he too will be going on this road trip with Abbs!
This book was hilarious! Abby rode on a triceratops, meets a wonderful drag queen name Queen Bee, dances on a bar, and judges a drag show! There wasn’t a dull moment in this novel and it definitely kept me on my toes!
I FLOVED Abby and Beck! Their back and forth banter was hilarious and witty. Their connection was sweet, and the way their friendship evolved was heartwarming.
If you are in the mood for a sweet, fast paced, light romance, with tons of adventure and banter, then I highly recommend this book!
