This is the first book I have read by Devyn Dawson and I had been wanting to read her work for a while now. I really loved Killing Me Softly, it was very refreshing to read something that was out of the norm of Paranormal or Fantasy. I really loved Tate's character, he's very determined and goes for what he wants. Holland on the other had has had a very rough life and is still living in a nightmare on a daily basis. She doesnt have very many friends and she's always been warned to stay away from Tate's kind, however the connection she feels with him dares her to find out what it's like to actually be with someone. The reasoning behind said warning becomes devastating for Holland but she's a strong women and is able to overcome the hurtful truth with the help of Tate. I really loved Devyn Dawson's writing style and can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

This is a really good book, but I felt it ended too quickly. What happened with Holland and her mom? Did Holland and Tate get married. I would have like more.
I liked that this book was informative about a real problem disease and was also a great romance story. I would recommend this book to friends and family
Read it all in 1 day. I didn't want to put it down! The 2nd was already supposed to be out but it isn't and that's the reason for 4 stars otherwise I would have given it 5.
This story is so lovely! It is different from Devyns other books, but still very good. Definitely a love story, I hadn't read a book about military men or mental illness so this was different. I was hook the moment I started it, I couldn't put it down I had to read it cover to cover. It made me laugh and sing along, I was a smiling fool at points. Say my name, say my name! Ugh I love Devyns books later tater! Any of Devyns are worth reading! Thanks Devyn! 💜JJ💚
I enjoyed reading Killing Me Softly. I got tears in my eyes a few times. I LOVE TATE! Holland and Tate make the perfect couple. What I didn't like was that the end seemed rushed. I even went back to make sure I didn't somehow skip a chapter. I definitely want to read more about Tate and Holland.
I give killing me softly five stars because Holland has gone through so much in her live with losing her friend and her mom leaves at a age were you need her most. then her mentally ill dad. she lucky to have Tate in her life now. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I loved the idea of this story. It was refreshing to read a romance where the two main characters find strength in each other rather than running. However, I only gave it three stars because of the flow of the book. At times there were too many unnecessary details (the description of the house) and other parts that it seems important details were skimmed over ((like the dad's funeral). I also didn't I stand why she would be drinking wine while in the hospital on pain meds. I really like the idea of the story but also believe there is room for improvement.
