My Rating: Five Captivating Stars*****
Oh my! How deliciously sinful and delightfully wicked! Fukunishi has once again demonstrated her amazing talent and delivered yet another exciting, well written, smart, steamy, arousing and sexy short story. Ryan is filthy rich, devastatingly handsome, wonderfully athletic and arrogantly privileged and can have any girl he chooses and it seems he chooses them all and has them all. All except Sophia. The lovely Sophia is shy and intelligent but simply cannot stand Ryan and is determined to stay as far away from Ryan as possible. And does a really great job of hating him until her widowed Mother, Isabel, drops a bombshell - she's marrying Ryan's Dad, Jack, the wealthy millionaire real estate mogul! What? Oh my goodness! You have to read the story to see what happens! But I will say this - it's good, very very good! Fabulous entertainment!

Stepbrother Where Art Thou? edition by Aya Fukunishi Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I was sent an advance review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
When I first started reading this, I wasn't really wild about it but by the end I thought it was pretty good. I'll have to find out what happens next in the continuation Stepbrother Forbidden.
I loved it and wished it was a little longer! It was a very very good quick read and i got alittle sad to see it was over so fast. He was a bad boy with a shy side and she was a misunderstood girl so how could they not find love together and it was Hot and funny and I really wished it was longer! The sex wasn't too much and the passion was there.
The book kept my interest and made me want to keep reading until the end. The only part I did not like is that I want to know what happens after their first time. I feel like their is more to explore after their first time together. Could they have real relationship since they both going off to college? They are adults now, just because their parents are getting married doesn't mean that relationship needs to be kept a secret or end.
This was a very, very fast read. The beginning of the book sets the storyline -- rich,"entitled" boy & girl from the poor side of town. It was steamy -- at the end -- but the build-up was great. It has you on the edge right to the very quick ending. I would like to see how Sophia and Ryan end up. How they connect and how they find each other was surprising. She resented his playboy ways not knowing he was only substituting all his "conquests" because be could not approach her. Now, I am rooting for both of them to find their way but I have to wait . I hope Book2 comes out sooner rather than later -- can't wait!

A quick, exciting story. It kept my nose glued to the pages. From the start I was thinking Ryan was going to be the typical young, hot, privileged guy, the one who loves them and leaves them. And he does seem to have a bit of a reputation, but he surprised me with his hidden side, very sweet and somewhat vulnerable. Sophia comes with baggage, but she comes out of her shell and took a chance. A lovely story between two young adults. If you are looking for a romance story that has some highs and lows this is it.
I really liked this book.
The story is about a young poor girl, Sophia, who is raised by her widowed mother. Sophia works hard to get good grades and ends up getting a scholarship to a school she would never have been able to afford.
At the school she notices Ryan, a rich guy who sleeps with every girls he can and then dumps them. Sophia decides that she will hate the guy for all the girls who have been dumped.
After being at the school for a couple of years Sophia finds out that her mother has been dating someone and is planning to marry the guy. When she finds out that the guy is none other than Ryan's dad, she pretends that she is happy for her mother.
How will she cope will living in the same house as the womanizer, Ryan?
I look forward to then next part in the story.
This book is good but it almost seems as thought it is a part one to a larger story. This book starts out with lots of detail and a great flow to the story-line when you get about 3/4 of the way through the story it seems like it is rushed to the end. In this book we meet Sophia she is the girl from the other side of the tracks. She ends up going to this prep school on scholarship where she meet Ryan. Ryan is the typical golden boy. His father is wealthy and seems to give him everything and he is the captain of the football team so his teachers give him a pass on his grades or so Sophia believes. Just after graduation Sophia and her mom are talking and she finds out that her mom and his dad have been dating for the last year but Sophia's mom has been worried about telling her. Now that she will be going to college at the end of the summer she wants them to get to know one another because Ryan's dad just proposed to her. In this story you get to know each of the characters really well in the beginning of this story but it is the last 1/4 of the book that bugs me it is like the author wanted this book finished and rushed the ending. It all makes sense but it just seems like such a rush of the final events that happen. Good story but weak ending.
